1 kg wheat flour
7½ dl dark beer (low alcoholic)
1 kg brown sugar
2 eggs (optional)
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cloves
Mix brown sugar and beer well, add the rest and stir well.
Bake in a paperlined baking mold (35x40 cm) approx. 45 minutes at 175ºC
Serve in slices, optionally with butter applied.
